One of the purest eco-systems in the world
« Le Château du Bois » recounts a tale from Provence. It is the story of one of the largest estates of fine lavender fields at the heart of the Haute-Provence region in Lagarde d’Apt. The « Château du Bois » is located in the very small commune of Lagarde d’Apt in the Vaucluse, with 35 inhabitants and a density of 1.6 inhabitants per square kilometre. The 350-hectare estate lies within two communes, Lagarde d’Apt and Simiane la Rotonde, and also within two departments of the Provence region, the Vaucluse (84) and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (04).
